Louisa Krause was born in New York City. Her most well-known role is Anna Garner on the TV show The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg was her debut film character in The Babysitters. Krause first studied drama as an undergraduate student, before appearing on Broadway as well as off Broadway productions. The family of her father comes from an ethnic background of Japanese descent and her mother is from the United States. Nathaniel is Nathaniel's younger brother and is an accomplished director. Her interest for the arts early in her stage by attending the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she was in high school, dance became less of a priority when she began performing in the Bill Russells and Henry Kriegers variety of plays and musicals which included Side Show as Violet Hilton. In high school she was accepted into an acting program at Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause made the decision to begin her acting career shortly after. After a successful performance on stage in the show Aida and receiving her Equity card. Louisa Krause was first involved in theatre. She was a part of the production of Huntington Theatre Company. 2007 was the year she performed Iphigenia at the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 performance.
