Asha Ashanti bromfield, a Afrojamaican of Afrojamaican descent is a singer, songwriter and screenwriter. Melody Jones' role as drummer Josie and the Pussycats is well known in CW Riverdale. Asha is Zadie in the Netflix hit show Locke and Key. She is the writer of HURRICANE the SUMMERTIME series, as well as SONGS of IRIE. Asha Bromfield's debut novel takes the reader on a journey to Jamaica and the inner world of a girl in her early years who struggles to come to terms in her relationship with herself and family.
